Overview
Spiritual Growth Eval helps you reflect on spiritual growth habits. This policy explains what we collect, how it is used, who can see it, and how you can delete your account. Spiritual assessment data is treated as sensitive personal information.
Spiritual data sensitivity
Answers, scores, maturity stages, discipline totals, and assessment history relate to your faith life. We treat this spiritual data as sensitive. It is stored in a secured database, accessed only as described below, and never sold. There are no public leaderboards and no public profiles. We do not publish or socially share individual scores by default.
Information we collect
- Account details: email, optional display name and phone, role (member or admin).
- Assessment data: answers, in-progress drafts, completed scores, stage labels, and history of takes.
- Preferences: reminder schedule, timezone, and email/push notification toggles.
- Technical data needed to run the service (authentication session, device push tokens if you opt in, basic logs).
How we use information
- Provide the assessment, results, history, and progress views.
- Send optional retake reminders and results emails you request.
- Secure accounts and operate the service.
- Enable ministry admins to offer pastoral care as described in Admin oversight.
Admin oversight of scores and history
Designated ministry administrators can view member profiles, assessment scores, discipline breakdowns, and full take history. This access supports pastoral care and ministry leadership, not public ranking or shaming. Admins do not have a public feed of results. If you do not want ministry staff to see your scores, do not use the service, or delete your account (see below).
No public leaderboards
Spiritual Growth Eval does not provide public leaderboards, social feeds, or default sharing of individual scores. Other members cannot browse your results. Results emails go only to the email on your account when you request them.
Retention
We retain your account profile, completed assessment attempts, answers, scores, reminders, and related records for as long as your account remains active so you (and authorized admins) can review growth over time. Operational logs may be kept for a limited period for security and reliability. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal assessment data as described below, subject to any short-term backups needed for recovery.
Account deletion path
You may delete your account from Settings → Delete account after signing in (confirm by typing your email). You are signed out immediately and cannot sign back in. Your profile and assessment data are archived for 90 days, then permanently removed (including attempts, answers, reminders, and push devices). There is no self-service restore during the archive window. If you cannot sign in, contact the ministry using the contact channels shown in the app (when enabled).
Security
Access is protected by authentication and database access controls. We use HTTPS in production. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; use a strong unique password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
